Simulator is the professional and technical training place for the Shenzhou V astronauts to practice the spaceship program and operation. Through the simulator's visual software, the spaceship's program operation and emergency handling can be simulated on the ground so that the astronauts can get familiar with and adapt to the life in space.
The astronauts will make simulated flight on the simulator which is the same with the real ship according to the space flight program in order to get familiar with the whole process of the spaceship, from entering the spaceship to launching, orbiting and returning, landing.
