STAR-90 simulation support system, as a simulation developing platform which is completely user-oriented with powerful function, applies the engineering modular core, the whole process graphical modeling so as to master easily. Besides, it supports the on-line modification and debugging of the model without compiling and linking, which improves substantially the developing efficiency of the model software. Depending on the law of conservation of energy, mass and momentum, the algorithms library is the core of the simulation model, which has undergone constant accumulation for more than 30 years and strict inspection of more than 150 customers. Thus, the dynamic and static accuracy of the process simulation model is higher than the national standard so as to ensure the training effect of the trainees. The simulation of the industrial process control undergoes some main phases such as the traditional simulation, stimulation, virtual DPU and translation, forming the present application pattern of translation and virtual DPU as the main types and others as auxiliary.
