1. Power Grid Simulation
The simulating scope of power grid simulation includes the primary and secondary equipments of all power plant, transformer substation, circuit, load, relay protection and automatic devices. The interface of simulation is the same to the actual EMS system so that it can get the real training effect.
According to the duty of grid controller, the power grid simulation can train a host of aspects, such as monitoring the operating condition (including the voltage of important busbar, the flow of important circuit, capacity of every power plant, power consumption of every region and load), changing the operating scheme, handling accidents, making the operating pre-arranged plan, and so on. Therefore, it can improve the operating level of controller as well as reliability, stability and economy of the grid operation.
The focus of simulation has the difference for the different duty of provincial and municipal grid.

2. Transformer Substation Simulation
Simulation scope includes:
★Types of Transformer Substation: conventional transformer station, integrated automation station, center station, and so on.
★ Voltage Classes: 500KV, 330KV, 220KV, 110KV, 35KV and 10KV.
★Main Connection ways: double busbar, double busbar with bypass, double busbar section with bypass; single busbar, single busbar section, single busbar section with bypass. 3/2 connection; inner bridge and external bridge connection; polygon connection.
★Simulation equipments: All primary and secondary equipments and automatic monitor system in transformer substation.
★ Local Area Network: In order to make the dynamic and static phenomenon of simulation more lifelike, the simulating substation can be simplified to form a local area network which including some transformer substations and power plants to ready for simulation.

Training Function:
★Monitoring: It can do the monitoring work to the panel of the operator on duty, including mainly the monitoring to the control screen of the main control room., the meter of the protection screen, signal light, “light” alarm.
★Operation: Including all primary and secondary equipments operation in the typical operation list of transformer station.
★Inspection: Making an inspection tour to the primary and secondary equipments of the simulating transformer station based on the manual.
★Accidents settlement: Setting the abnormal conditions or malfunctions of all kinds of equipments, including short circuit, grounding, disconnection, at the same time, any combination with the mal operation or failure of the breaker, relay protection, and automatic devices. Every false operation accident simulation is random and real-time. Once the false operation happens, the system will response immediately without presetting, which is the same to the actual situation.

Simulating Degree:
★ Interface of human and computer: 1:1 simulation to simulating control panel, automatic monitoring system, protective panel and model panel.
★ Math model: math model of all physics process. Every normal condition, abnormal phenomenon, and accident state can be reflected in real time when doing every operation.
